Lava cake cookies

Today I made double chocolate chip cookies. If you eat them warm, they taste like a chocolate lava cake in cookie form. I made them with my “big sister,” Alina. When quarantine is afoot, baking season follows! Here is the recipe:

2 tbsp butter

1&1/2 cups white sugar

2 eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups all purpose flour

2/3 cup cocoa powder

3/4 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat over to 350F. In a large bowl, beat together butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Stir in this mixture to the butter mixture until combined. Mix in the chocolate chips. Drop into an ungreased baking tray(s). Bake for 8-10 minutes. Let cool for a few minute. Enjoy!

I got this recipe off of Allrecipes Australia
